PodCamp AZ (www.podcampaz.org), a FREE new-media conference dedicated to podcasting, blogging, vlogging and other new/social media – hosted and co-organized by Arizona’s leaders and learners of new and emerging technologies, has an opportunity for two interns interested in public relations. This is a temporary internship lasting approximately 5 weeks.

PR Internship duties include:

• compilation of a press list from online resources
• work with event organizer to draft a news release
• distribute news to targeted media contacts
• follow up with journalists by email and/or phone
• confirm and report on all coverage
• schedule interviews with PodCamp AZ organizers and the press

Interns will be mentored by a marketing communications veteran who is also a best-selling author on technology and marketing, professional freelance writer, conference speaker, and former public radio host.
