Speakers

Speakers are the host of an ongoing conversation.

We are currently building the schedule of PodCampAZ 2008 presenters and are looking for more relevant media enthusiasts and professionals including bloggers, podcasters, YouTubers, and social networkers. We will also be inviting several movers and shakers to host informal un-sessions for smaller groups.

PodCampAZ is a FREE networking media “unconference”, dedicated to blogging, video blogging, podcasting, social networking, and all other relevant media. This year’s event has been extended to two days and will be held at the University of Advancing Technology in Tempe, AZ on November 1st and 2nd. At the heart of the “unconference” experience is the opportunity to have a conversation at large with those innovators which have created and fostered a successful blend of relevant media and put it to work for them. While hosting your own session audience members are free to drop in, listen and learn about what is relevant to their needs, and move on to the next session if they wish. Even better, they are encouraged to become a part of the experience by stimulating ideas and asking questions.

Planning for the 2008 PodCampAZ is already well underway and we’re extremely excited about how this year’s un-conference is shaping up. We’re also looking forward to having an even more amazing roster of speakers, sponsors, and vendors which will help define the shape of relevant media in the southwest.

If you are interested in hosting a session at PodCamp AZ 2008, please email Greenroom@podcampAZ.org. We are excited to have so many presenters and sessions at this year’s PodCamp AZ, and would like to remind those that are interested in speaking:

1. The topic should be related to New and Relevant Media.

2. Podcamp is about education and sharing, not advertising, so please do not use your PodCamp session as an opportunity to sell products or services. You can talk about what you do and tools you use, but please make the focus about educating others, not selling.

3. There is a focus on Relevant media and identifying the many sources of information for today’s internet community this year, and how we can use new media to rethink and reimagine the way we communicate and share, not only online, but also “in real life”. What sources do you use?

4. We will place sessions into the schedule as we get closer to the event. If you have specific time constraints, let us know ASAP. Everyone will be allowed to speak as time and space allows.
