Held March 22-25 2012, the CompTechConf exists to teach anyone from noob to expert how to better use technology. They offer seminars, vendors and great networking opportunities.

Chandler City Councilman and Floridino’s/Dilly’s Deli co-owner Jeff Weninger had a few extra. They are worth $80 each and expire 12/31/2011. If you win them, please make sure someone uses them!

Michael, who edited the Domino Project’s End Malaria, published this as a way to help other creatives do what it is they set out to get done.

Escape From Cubicle Nation – Pam Slim
We’re fairly sure Pam Slim’s 2008 PodcampAZ presentation is what spurred Chad Swaney to reach for more and better employment doing what he actually loves and she’s helped a lot of other people since then. This is a blueprint on how to get the job you’ve always wanted without completely sacrificing what you’ve already worked hard for.

A First-Rate Madness – Nassir Ghaemi
Recommended by Mark Dudlik of too many things to list here, this is about the link between leadership and mental illness. Not sure if it means that you have to be crazy to lead or leadership makes people crazy, but we bet some of you would really like to find out.

FoolishUniversity.com – One free month (2), three free months
Not sure how literally we should take Tim Conley’s company, but three lucky people are going to be able to say they attended a university that, well, there’s not much humor there. (ed. note – Tyler says he’s sorry)

With the easiest to understand grammar podcast out there, Mignon Fogarty is the nicest grammar teacher you wish you’d had.

The Happiness Project – Gretchen Rubin
Follow Gretchen along a happy, happy journey. Or something like that. Either way, the bookstore lady said it was inspirational and that it was by an independent publisher. Support the little guys!

How to Fail – The Self-Hurt Guide
Completely not inspirational, total opposite of most of the books on this list, and written by Aaron Goldfarb, who has been an author for a whopping 366 (on 11/8) days. And the guide we all need to make sure we don’t take ourselves too seriously.

If you don’t understand why a book that makes Wookiee sounds is awesome, well, huh.

Speaking of hosts, how about Podcast Guest? CJ’s co-host this year is the ultimate in podcast guesting, Scott Josephson! Scott has been around the podcasting block, with an ultimate goal of being a guest on every show he can possibly get his voice on. That makes him the perfect co-host for the weekend!

So, when you’re walking around this weekend and you see CJ and Scott at the mic in room 207- don’t keep walking by. Go in. Say hello. Bring them cookies**.
