Carey Holzman is known for his high-energy, fun and participatory presentation style. There are no scripts or rehearsals and, as a result, no two presentations are ever the same. Carey is the co-host of the nation’s longest running, nationally syndicated radio talk show on computers, Computer America. Now in it’s 18th broadcast season, Computer America airs live, each weekday night, from 7pm to 9pm Pacific time on AM and FM radio stations across the country, and streams all over the world through the Internet at www.ComputerAmerica.com. Carey is also the author of The Healthy PC, a book from McGraw/Hill, and runs his own computer repair, upgrade and sales business out of Glendale, AZ. He has written for Smart Computing Magazine, CMP media, Toms Hardware, Digital Landing and numerous other web-sites and magazines. Well the Linux community goes on about the availability of great, free software for their operating system, the same is already happening in the Windows world. In this talk I’ll be pointing out some exceptional freeware for the Windows platform that are all safe, easy and reliable to use and cost the end user nothing but their time (just like Linux!).
