Help out with today’s BLOG BLAST!

Hello bloggers, podcasters, tweeters, and others prolifically verbose in web and media content. Our first promotion blog blast for PodCamp AZ 2009 will happen on Monday, June 22nd. We have created a Blog Blast Central page with all sorts of groovy information intended to help you help us spread the word about the event.

Two additional big things for today:

1) Blog Blast Theme – This is me in my PodCamp AZ Tee.
The PodCamp AZ tees are a fashion staple, and the theme of today’s Blog Blast

  • If you have a shirt, take a picture of yourself or someone else/thing (like your pet eel) in the tee, upload it to Flickr with the tag PCAZtee, and include it on your blog or link to it in your tweets/retweets on Monday, June 22nd.

  • If you don’t have a PodCamp AZ shirt and need one to link/post, feel free to use this one by Tyson Crosbie. Or do a search for podcampaz + PCAZtee and select your favorite. Many photos tagged with podcampaz have been shared under a Creative Commons license, but please check usage notes on each photo before sharing. And always provide attribution to the photographer.
  • AND we know that, like us, you wear it every single day already because you want everyone to know you think PodCamp AZ is all that and a bag of chips, but pretty pretty please wear it Monday, June 22nd (yes, we know that’s today).

2) We’ve created an awesome overlay for your Twitter avatar. Add it, or we’ll sic Chuck’s Chihuahua on you!

    Well I’d take a pic of me in the PodcampAZ tee but Ms. Herr failed to save one for me. And that’s not even the worse part. She lost the swag shirt I asked to snag me since I couldn’t be there & hoped PodcampAZ would sell my original tee for some extra $. :)

    We have plenty of left over tees so I’m sure you could still get one. However, stay tuned for some coolness we have planned for all of them in the near future.
